Worker, Keep turning was a long and wide spanning project that included field research, sculptures, video, print and publication work and so much more. The full publication can be found here.
The two primary elements was the above mentioned publication and a series of sculptures. The publication is constructed from collaged part of old woodworking magazines combined with current research conducted in the British midlands.
The sculptures are wood turned from custom blanks created from scrap and bound together by Cascamite glue colored by textile pigments. Each sculptures is created from a template generated by a algorithm running in the CAD software grasshopper.
